Ice Cream Colored Pencil Drawings - Kid's Art Class

We did a really fun drawing with colored pencils during this week's art class.  I showed the kids (ages 7-12) how to use darker and complimentary colors to add shadows and we worked on leaving areas with less color to suggest highlights.  I also talked about leaving visible sketch lines to add interest.  I love the different interpretations. I think the kids did a fantastic job!

Polymer Clay Birds & Houses - After School Art

We used polymer clay to create these funky bird sculptures.  The clay comes in great colors and we used the same technique that we used when we made our marbled bead bracelets to create interesting patterns on the birds and houses.  It was a really fun project!
