I decided the baby shoes just weren't quite right, so I switched themes to nests & birds. It's a familiar theme for me. I did a different twist on it and decided to keep it very simple. Just sketched lines with overlapping colored rectangles behind. Here is the result.

"Sweet Beginnings" - Project Selvage/Spoonflower Fabric Contest Entry
Well, I made the deadline for Spoonflower's Project Selvage contest by the skin of my teeth! This was a busy week, with birthdays and vacation. But I managed to get some work done and finished my last minute fabric design change.
I decided the baby shoes just weren't quite right, so I switched themes to nests & birds. It's a familiar theme for me. I did a different twist on it and decided to keep it very simple. Just sketched lines with overlapping colored rectangles behind. Here is the result.
